Monte Rei is an award‑winning Jack Nicklaus Signature course that combines strategic depth with natural beauty. The layout features generous fairways that weave through rolling countryside, with water hazards and sculpted bunkers providing compelling strategic options throughout the round.

Set in the foothills of the Eastern Algarve, the course enjoys panoramic views of the Serra do Caldeirão mountains and the distant Atlantic. Native grasses, indigenous shrubland and seasonal birdlife create a tranquil yet dramatic environment that underscores why this is considered a must‑play on any Algarve golf itinerary.
