Comporta, Comporta & Tróia Coast, Portugal
Championship Parkland Course

Designer: Sergio García (2025)
Style: Links-inspired resort layout
Par: 72
A bold and strategic championship design, Torre blends modern shaping with classic shot values. Wide sandy waste areas frame the fairways, while sculpted bunkering and firm, contoured greens demand imagination and precision into the targets. Multiple tee options allow the course to stretch to championship length, yet its true defence lies in angles of approach and thoughtful positioning rather than sheer power. Risk-and-reward par 5s and strong mid-length par 4s create variety and momentum throughout the round.
Set within the natural landscape of Comporta, just south of Lisbon, Torre sits among rolling dunes, pine forests and open coastal plains. The sandy terrain gives the course a raw, natural aesthetic, with expansive views and a sense of space rarely found in Portugal. The atmosphere is peaceful and understated, shaped by Atlantic breezes and the surrounding protected landscapes, creating a distinctive golfing experience that feels both contemporary and deeply connected to its environment.
