The Kartódromo Internacional do Algarve opened in 2010 and is one of Europe’s largest go-kart tracks, right next to the Autódromo. It’s open to all ages and experience levels, whether you’re after a quick blast or an hour of serious laps.
Pick your session length in 15-minute blocks and your kart: 270cc karts for adults and teens over 1.55 m, or Mini karts for drivers between 1.35 and 1.55 m. No booking is needed for standard rental, so you can add a session on the day.
For groups, switch to Speed Races. You get exclusive use of the track, a practice session, then a timed race, with medals and sparkling wine for the top three finishers. It’s the best way to settle who’s actually fastest.
Duration: 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes (standard rental). Speed Races run 30 or 45 minutes (10 or 15 min practice plus 20 or 30 min race).
