Some trips you plan. Some trips you remember.
The Sunline Pack started as an answer to a question we kept getting asked: not where should I play, but what should a proper week actually look like. The courses, yes. But also the evening you don't want to end, the afternoon with no agenda, the dinner that somehow becomes the story you tell more than any birdie you made.
This is that week.
Day 1 - In
You have arrived at Faro Airport. Our transfer is already there to pick you up. Nothing to worry about, just enjoy the views until you get to the Villa.
The Villa
At OuttaBounds, we tailor our trips to you. This means that the place you will stay can change according to your group's needs or personal preference. Remember, we're here to craft your dream trip.
However, we do suggest for this pack: Pestana Valley Natures. It sits in a quiet fold of land above Ferragudo, a village most visitors to the Algarve never find, which is exactly the point. It's built around the landscape rather than on top of it. Natural materials, mature gardens, the sound of nothing in particular. Daily breakfast is included, and on the mornings you're not in a hurry to get to the first tee, you'll find yourself lingering longer than planned. You sleep well here. The week starts before it starts.

The first evening belongs to you. Walk down to the village, find a table near the water, and order the catch of the day. Tomorrow there's a morning tee time.

Day 2 - Vila Sol
Vila Sol is a serious course. Twenty-seven holes outside Vilamoura, designed to reward the patient and punish the careless. It has a reputation, the kind that means you've heard of it before you've played it. You'll play with a buggy, tee time sorted.
That night, the villa becomes somewhere else entirely. A private chef arrives, sources the best of what's local, and cooks dinner in your kitchen. No menu, no bill, no journey home. Just the table, the food, and however long the evening decides to last.

Day 3 - Palmares
There are golf courses with views, and then there's Palmares. The headland above Meia Praia beach, Robert Trent Jones Jr.'s routing, the Atlantic sitting there at the edge of everything. It makes concentration difficult in the best possible way. The back nine, in particular, is the kind of golf you play and then describe badly to people who weren't there.

Day 4 - The Sea
No clubs today.
A private yacht takes you west along the coast, past grottos and sea stacks and beaches with no road access. You swim when you want to. You eat on board. The Ponta da Piedade stretch near Lagos is the most photographed coastline in Portugal, and from the water you understand why every photograph undersells it.
This is the day that becomes the argument for doing it again.

Day 5 - Gramacho + The Cellar
Gramacho is the Algarve in a more intimate register. Shorter, more playful, the sea visible from the higher holes. It's a course that lets you actually enjoy your swing rather than just survive it. A good way to close out three rounds.
The afternoon: a wine tasting. The wines of southern Portugal are chronically underrated, and this is the hour that fixes that. You'll order better for the rest of your life.

Day 6 - Out
Breakfast. Bags. Faro. The week is always too short. We have yet to find a solution to this.
